Dr. Fried wins award

Dr. Richard Fried, the medical director and owner of Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital has been serving the Upper West Side for over 18 years. Dr. Fried's committment to client relationships and the highest level of companion animal care continues to attract patients from all over the city.

Dr. Fried and team also work closely with The Artemis Project, to provide medical care for many of the homeless and disadvantaged cats and dogs in our city. They have helped place hundreds of abandoned dogs and cats into loving, caring homes.

Kindergarteners Visit Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital

kindergarteners visit LSVH
As part of our interest in serving the local community, LSVH invited a group of kindergarteners from nearby Beit Rabban Day School to stop by for a visit. The children were given a complete tour of the facility including the exam rooms, surgical ward, X-ray acquisition station, hospitalization and recovery area, isolation, reception, and boarding wing. Their teachers helped them prepare questions for the doctors and other staff members. None of the kids have pets of their own, so it was truly a unique and memorable learning experience for everyone involved. It is important to teach children how to appropriately handle and pet domestic animals, and to make them aware of their need for lifelong veterinary care.

To further educate the students, the class has been recreating LSVH in their classroom. They will have an exhibition for friends and family at school to share what they learned at the hospital. We thoroughly enjoyed their visit, and hope it inspires the boys and girls to love and welcome pets into their lives.
