Veterinary Technician

Veterinary Technician

Ivan comes to us with over 12 years experience as a veterinary technician in New York. His exceptional dental techniques keep pets all over the upper west side smiling. Ivan's great sense of humor and upbeat personality leave clients and our staff smiling too.

Handler and Nurse Assistant

Kisha has a BA in Studio Art, but dedicates herself to the care of animals. She assists with lab work, treatments, and other basic nursing duties. Her competency and compassionate nature keeps the treatment room running smoothly.

Artemis Project - Adoptions

Our devotion to dogs and cats extends beyond our clients and patients. We work closely with The Artemis Project, an animal welfare organization based in the neighborhood, to provide medical care for many of the homeless and disadvantaged cats and dogs in our city. We have helped place hundreds of abandoned dogs and cats into loving, caring homes.

Dorian Rence, a violist with the New York Philharmonic and Artemis Project founder, leads the organization with the assistance of Jen Grabenstein and our nurse Carolyn Miller. Artemis also assists with emergency medical expenses for those with fixed and limited incomes and educates local children about the humane treatment of animals.

Stop into Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital for a look at a few of the animals we have available for adoption, or visit the Artemis petfinder web site.
